Contract Monitoring Officer (Environmental Services).
About the Role:
In this role you'll monitor the standards of waste collection and street cleansing operational delivery in all areas of the borough to deliver high standards of frontline services that complement the Council's priorities with regards to the sustainable communities¿ agenda and effectively maintain the Council's statutory obligations to collect waste and keep the public highways and alleyways free from litter and waste.
You will carry out regular monitoring of the cleanliness of Wirral's streets and other relevant land within each of the borough's three constituency areas by applying agreed statistically valid benchmarking data to enable national and regional benchmarking.
About the Candidate:
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Contract Monitoring Officer to carry out regular monitoring of the cleanliness of Wirral's streets and other relevant land within each of the borough’s four constituencies by applying agreed statistically valid benchmarking data to enable national and regional benchmarking.
We would like to hear from you if you Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and current Health and Safety Executive (HSE)/Waste Industry Safety and Health (WISH) guidance around safe working practices in the waste and environmental services industry, such as safe reversing and loading procedures along with Knowledge and professional experience of legislation, regulations, standards, specifications and operational practices relating to the delivery of frontline environmental Streetscene services including:
