Duty Officer

About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Duty Officer to join our team and help ensure the smooth, safe and high-quality operation of our leisure facility. This is a key frontline role responsible for supervising the centre, supporting staff, and ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience
As a Duty Officer, you will oversee the day to day running of the site, taking responsibility for health and safety, customer care, financial procedures, and the effective leadership of the team on shift. You will work closely with the Team Leader and other colleagues to maintain high operational standards and deliver a welcoming, professional environment for all users.
You will be required to work on a rota basis over seven days per week, which will include weekends and unsocial hours. You will also be required to work across multiple sites having the ability to travel across the Borough to support the needs of the leisure service as and when required.
About the Candidate:

You will operate and supervise a leisure centre, adhering to health and safety procedures, whilst developing opportunities to enhance the customer experience supporting the leisure manager and team leaders to increase income and maximise efficiencies.
