Member Support Officer - 12-month Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for an organised and proactive Member Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative support to Wirral's elected Members. As a Member Support Officer, you will deliver a responsive, efficient and professional support service that enables our elected Members to make a positive difference for residents across Wirral.
About the Role:
As part of a dedicated team, you will support political groups, coordinate applications for the Wirral Together Fund, manage financial and administrative processes, and help ensure Members have the support they need to effectively serve their local communities. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
About the Candidate:
You will be a confident and professional administrator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be highly organised, able to work independently and use your initiative, while remaining adaptable to changing demands and deadlines. Experience of managing workloads in a busy environment, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to handling confidential information appropriately are essential.
