About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our bespoke Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team as an Advanced Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about human rights, legal literacy, and high‑quality practice to play a key role in strengthening and developing DoLS practice within our service.
About the candidate:
As an Advanced Practitioner within the DoLS team, you will provide expert practice support, guidance, and oversight across complex cases, ensuring that assessments and authorisations meet the highest professional and legal standards.
You will work closely with Social Workers, Best Interest Assessors, legal colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure that the rights of people who may be deprived of their liberty are safeguarded and upheld. You will also work alongside an experienced manager with many years of social work practice, who is passionate about developing the service and motivated to make this team one of the best.
